3. Products and Specifications
We take great care to accurately represent our Products on the Website, including images, descriptions, and specifications. However, please note:
- Product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual products may vary slightly in colour, grain pattern, and texture due to the natural characteristics of wood.
- Dimensions and specifications are approximate and may be subject to minor manufacturing tolerances of up to ±2%.
- Natural wood products will undergo colour changes over time due to UV exposure and weather conditions. This is a natural characteristic and is not considered a defect.
- We reserve the right to make minor design improvements or substitute materials of equal or better quality without prior notice.
4. Orders and Pricing
All orders are subject to acceptance by Wood Architects. A binding contract is formed only when we issue an Order Confirmation.
- Prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise specified in writing.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. VAT will be applied in accordance with applicable EU regulations.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to adjust prices in the event of significant changes in raw material costs, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements, provided the order has not yet been confirmed.
Payment terms
- A deposit (typically 50%) is required upon order confirmation for custom-made Products.
- The remaining balance is due prior to dispatch.
- Payment terms for Distributors are governed by the applicable distributor agreement.
5. Delivery
Lead times
Custom-manufactured saunas typically have a lead time of 4–8 weeks from order confirmation, depending on the product type, current production schedule, and customisation requirements. Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Shipping and delivery terms
- Delivery terms (EXW, DAP, or other Incoterms®) are specified in the quotation or Order Confirmation.
- If no delivery terms are specified, delivery is EXW (Ex Works) from our production facility in Lithuania.
- Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Buyer at the point specified by the applicable delivery term.
Inspection upon delivery
The Buyer must inspect all Products upon delivery and report any visible damage or discrepancies to us within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to report within this period may limit your ability to make a claim. Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for detailed procedures.
6. Warranty
Wood Architects warrants its Products against defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions and maintained according to our care guidelines.
Warranty periods
- Structural components (frame, walls, roof) — 2 years from date of delivery
- Glass panels, doors, and windows — 2 years from date of delivery
- Sauna stoves and heaters (Harvia or equivalent) — As per the manufacturer's warranty, typically 1–2 years
- Electrical components and LED lighting — 1 year from date of delivery
- Accessories and fittings — 1 year from date of delivery
A replacement part or repaired Product assumes the remaining warranty of the original, or 6 months from the date of repair, whichever is longer.
What the warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including weathering, UV discolouration, and natural ageing of wood
- Minor cracking, checking, or splitting of wood — these are natural characteristics of solid timber and are not structural defects
- Resin (sap) exudation from coniferous wood species, which is a natural occurrence
- Damage caused by improper installation, modification, or failure to follow our installation and care guidelines
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, or exposure to extreme conditions beyond the product's design specifications
- Damage caused by third-party products, cleaning agents, or chemicals not recommended by Wood Architects
- Products that have been altered, repaired, or serviced by anyone other than Wood Architects or an authorised service provider
- Cosmetic variations in wood grain, knots, colour, or texture — these are inherent to natural wood products
Warranty claim process
To make a warranty claim, please contact us with:
- Your order number and date of purchase
- A detailed description of the defect
- Photographs or video evidence of the issue
We will assess your claim and, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective part or Product at no charge. We reserve the right to inspect the Product in person or request that it be returned for inspection before processing the claim.
