We use premium Nordic spruce or thermo-treated wood (Thermowood). The latter provides superior durability, absolute rot resistance, and reduces shrinking/expanding under extreme outdoor temperatures.
Yes. The unique circular shape creates highly efficient natural heat circulation, and we offer insulated back-wall options along with over-specced Finnish Harvia heaters to guarantee rapid heat-up times even in sub-zero Scandinavian climates.
Delivery across Europe is typically fully assembled via truck. A heavy-duty forklift or crane is required to offload the unit directly into your garden. We can also provide flat-pack options for properties with restricted access.
For electric heaters, a dedicated 3-phase (400V) connection is typically required. If you opt for a classic wood-burning stove, no high-voltage electrical connection is needed unless you choose to add LED interior ambiance lighting.
Untreated exterior wood should be oiled or stained externally once a year. Thermowood is highly low-maintenance and naturally silvers gracefully over time unless treated with a UV-protectant oil. The interior requires simple wiping with damp cloths and mild sauna cleaners.
